The 90 degree plus day days the last couple weeks sure has made a big difference in the corn plot this past month. Check out the corn and bean plots as of August 23 in the photo section of our website to see how the plot has changed. It looks like the corn plot will be taken out in a couple of weeks. In talking with the young leaders, they said it wasn’t going to be the first corn harvested on this farm but it would be soon after.

The Young Leaders are going up in the next few days to do a yield check before harvest to how they do against the actual yield when the plot is harvested. Check back for photos of the plot being yield checked before it is harvested and during the harvesting of the plot.
