Be sure and check out the photo area of our website for pictures taken during "Food Check Out Day" at Aldi's in Litchfield. "Food Check out Day" is the day that most American's have earned enough to pay for their food for the entire year.

This year the MCFB Women's Committee went to the Aldi's store in Litchfield where they purchased over $600 worth of groceries to be given to the Hillsboro Salvation Army's Food Pantry.

Rita Frazier from WSMI was the guest celebrity that helped to promote "Food Check Out Day". She was to run a contest with President Brian Niemann to see who could collect the most groceries in two minutes, but Brian was held up in the grain lines in St. Louis(or so he said). Rita had to run the contest by herself.
