Have You Seen the Corn-Bean Plot Lately?
[e-Mail this Article]     [Print this Article]

The corn and bean plot has sure changed over the last few days. The corn was planted on the 12th of April and the beans were planted on the 10th of May. As you can see the corn is tasseled out and looking really good. Like most soybeans around the county, the beans have had just a little too much water. Where the beans are well drained the beans are tall and dark green, but where they happen to be in a low wet spot in the field they are shorter and more yellow in color. The dry warm weather that we have had this week should help the beans a lot.

For more pictures of the bean and corn plot go to the Photo Section of our website.
