Try our new product that we just started carrying, “GOLDEN PRAIRIE POPCORN" grown right here in Montgomery County by one of our Young Leaders Matt Stolte. Its microwave popcorn popped on the ear. You heard about it on WSMI with Rita Frazier. Come in and take an ear home and try it!

Trick or Treaters came up to the FB Building after Hillsboro’s Chamber of Commerce Walk and played several games. We had witches, bubble bees, princesses, bears and many scary creatures. Ghosts were throughout the building and an outline of a dead body was on the floor as you entered the building. Games were provided by Jean Anderson, Diane Murphy, Marlyn McCafferty, and Sherri Ellis. Linda Young served up cider and gave everyone a mini bag of popcorn. All visitors were greeted at the door by Phyllis Huber and Peggy Young. If you looked real close, you may have seen Bob the Builder.

A big thank you goes to our Farm Bureau Women’s Committee for cleaning and planting new flowers in our FB flower bed under our FB Sign. Thank You, Thank You! It looks terrific! On Thursday Morning a group of six ladies came to the FB with their shovels, rakes, trash bags, diggers and lots of new spring bulbs to plant. They cleaned, dug out weeds, old mulch and old debris from and around the flower bed. They cleaned around the perennials and then planted mums under the sign. Then lots of spring tulips, daffodils were planted. Finally a layer of red mulch was laid over the bed.
Be sure and take a look the next time you drive by the building.
